Join us for the Coastside Cohousing Kick-Off Workshop, an exclusive weekend gathering for Explorers and Members. This milestone event marks the exciting transition from early visioning to hands-on development—when our shared dream of a thriving, connected community begins to take real shape.
We’re honored to welcome Katie McCamant, renowned cohousing expert and founder of the 500 Communities Program, as our lead facilitator. With Katie’s guidance, we’ll dig into the “nuts and bolts” of bringing Coastside Cohousing to life—covering topics such as:
Development budgets and financial commitments
Member roles and responsibilities
Project timelines and next steps
Strategies for fostering a resilient, collaborative community culture
What to Expect
Over two immersive days, participants will engage in interactive sessions, group discussions, and community-building activities designed to provide both clarity and connection.
Your registration includes:
Continental breakfasts and lunches each day
Saturday evening dinner off-site for relaxed connection
Workshop binder packed with resources and references for the journey ahead

This workshop is open to Coastside Cohousing Explorers and Members.
Participation Fee: $200 per household (includes all meals and materials and serves as your Explorer fee).
After you complete the registration form, you’ll receive a follow-up email with a link to submit the Explorer fee.
